BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER
ONE FAMILY AT A TIME.

H.O.M.E. Intervention Service

H.O.M.E. Intervention Service is a 501 c3 tax exempt non-profit organization with the goal of providing resources to the community emphasizing providing aid to the formerly incarcerated. We endeavor to provide intervention services to clients who are on bond or community supervision by removing obstacles and providing support before they re-offend resulting in re-incarceration.

Ex offenders are often labeled for life.

Imagine being fresh out of jail and wanting to start over but you have no place to stay, no money, and every place you went for employment never contacted you. After several attempts you would feel like there are no other options but to commit a crime in order to provide for yourself or your family. Depending on which source you read, about 60 to 80 percent of offenders re-offend within a year of being released.

We recognize the challenges persons with criminal backgrounds face, therefore we want to be a lifeline to those that find
themselves drowning and out of options.

A Holistic Approach

There is a Chinese proverb that says , “If you give a man a fish, he can eat for one day . If you teach a man to fish, he can eat for a lifetime.”

We believe equipping people with the skills necessary to be self sufficient is the key to success. Having realistic opportunities for adequate housing, sustainable employment, support from both community and family, proper education are all vital elements to living a crime free life.

We recognize the challenges persons with criminal backgrounds face, therefore we want to be a lifeline to those that find
themselves drowning and out of options.

MISSION

Our mission is to facilitate charitable, educational, and faith-based services in under-served communities by assisting men, women, children, and formerly incarcerated persons with finding housing, enrolling in literacy programs, and obtaining employment skills that lead to a better quality of life.
